The REWE Group in Austria trains apprentices in 20 different occupations. Young people interested in working in retail can start their apprenticeship in store and at the head office departments of the REWE Group in Austria. The range could not be more varied! We not only offer a wide range of choices, but also stable and crisis-proof apprenticeships: around 2,300 apprentices are currently completing their apprenticeship at BILLA, PENNY, BIPA, ADEG and the main REWE Group companies. In addition to your trainer, your apprentice mentor will be by your side throughout your apprenticeship to guarantee you the best possible training. After your apprenticeship, you can continue to work on your career in various young professional promotion programmes – for example with the ‘BILLA Zukunftstalente’, ‘PENNY Talents’ or BIPA #Karriere.Sprung.Brett training programmes. Apprentices can also complete an apprenticeship with the Matura qualification for university entrance, an integrative apprenticeship or an apprenticeship after the Matura (dual academy). Transfers between companies and numerous further training and promotion opportunities within the REWE Group in Austria are also possible after completing the apprenticeship.

Apprentice training is very important at PENNY. Because our apprentices are our specialists and managers of tomorrow. That’s why we not only train them as retail specialists during their apprenticeship, but also help them grow into managers.

Apprenticeships at ADEG
Our motto is ‘Welcome home!’ and by this we mean offering our customers what they need, where they live. During your apprenticeship, you will work in all departments of an ADEG store. Your management assistant is your direct contact person for all questions.
